That reads more like a short top than a crop top, which is the useful middle if you want low-waist bottoms without pulling the hem down all night.

A sky blue halter top can go sugary if you add white shorts, pearl earrings, and pale sandals all at once. I would push it the other way. Grey. Olive. Washed black. A rougher belt if the outfit needs weight. Green heels looked odd in my head until I saw the images; then it clicked. The cool blue needed something less expected near the floor.
